Patterns Optional is the brain child of a professional partnership that spans two generations. After years of working for others in the bridal industry, my business partner Kathy and I decided to take the leap into business ownership and began designing dresses of our own. With our combined 30 years of service in the bridal industry, we have decided to put our skills to use on a more personal level.
Whether in person at our shop in Terre Haute, Indiana or through the world wide web, we would love to have the opportunity to create for you. You won't find cookie cutter ideas when you choose to work with Patterns Optional. Instead you can be guaranteed a one of a kind experience.
Our many years of sewing and alterations background give us the insight to create beautiful and inspiring gowns from the inside out. Although we love working within the traditional wedding palette, we specialize in the avant garde and unique designs. There is no rule book that dictates a wedding gown must be white, long, and strapless. We love having the opportunity to draw from pop culture and create gowns with flair. We don't need a pattern to create the perfect fashions for you.
